I believe working on the existing features is the only thing that should be done at this point. You must have a solid base to build from. Your not going to expand the user base by having a bloated piece of software that has too many features implemented poorly, there are already numerous programs available that are done that way.
I'm curious to know what other competing packages you are referring to that have a web-clipping tool? Also, what exactly is a zoom tool?

Hi
Zooming is the ability to enlarge the page in a fashion similar to Firefox- the content of any page can be enlarged by pressing CTRL + or CRTL - Implementing a zoom tool for TreeDB has been discussed many times on this forum. Many users of note-taking software request zoom capability for several reasons-
-many users are older and need to be able to increase the size of pages in order to see clearly.
- many people are using netbooks with small screens and the ability to zoom greatly enhances the usablity and convenience of the software. Note-taking applications are extremely well suited to netbooks which have limited ability to run a great number of different programs.
Web clipping tools- many note-taking applications and related research tools have web-clipping tools. Among the prominent ones are:
Evernote
One-Note
MyBase
InfoQube
AM-Notebook
Surfalator
(there are others as well)
Related data and research note-taking tools:
Zotero
Scrapbook plugin for Firefox
There are many tools out there and one of the most common requests for all note-taking tools is to have this web-clipping capability.
So having these 2 functions, zoom and web-clipping, are not extravagent features at all. They are common features in many note-taking tools that many people find essential.
